Intended Use

Migration Path

Rockwell Automation has discontinued the PowerFlex 700. Published successor for the PowerFlex 700: PowerFlex 753 (20F) or PowerFlex 755 (20G).

Rockwell's PowerFlex 700 to PowerFlex 750-Series migration guide carries a parameter cross-reference; parameters are re-entered or mapped, not copied, because the 750-Series parameter numbering differs.
The HIM and communication adapters change: 20-HIM-A3/A5 give way to 20-HIM-A6/C6, and 20-COMM-x adapters to 20-750-xxx option modules (the 755 has EtherNet/IP embedded).
Frame sizes and mounting differ between a PowerFlex 700 and the equivalent 753/755, so check the panel layout and the 750-TD001 dimensions before ordering.
