NJT Automation Warranty Policy
1. Warranty Duration
NJT Automation provides a 1-year full-function warranty on all parts and repairs, beginning on the date of delivery.
This warranty is non-prorated and remains in effect for the full warranty period.
2. Warranty Coverage
This warranty covers failures that occur under normal operating conditions and prevent the product from performing its intended function.
Coverage includes:
- Functional failures during normal use
- Defects in materials or workmanship
- Electrical or electronic component failures that affect operation
- Repair, replacement, or refund at NJT Automation's discretion
If the product does not perform its intended function under normal conditions, it is covered.
3. Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not apply to failures resulting from:
- Improper installation, wiring, grounding, or configuration
- Incorrect voltage, phase, or environmental conditions
- Failures caused by external equipment such as motors, power supplies, cabinets, or field wiring
- Electrical events including power surges, short circuits, phase loss, or lightning
- Modifications, tampering, or repairs performed by anyone other than NJT Automation
- Cosmetic wear that does not affect functionality
- Downtime, lost production, or consequential damages
4. Warranty Claim Process
To initiate a warranty claim, the customer must:
- Contact NJT Automation with the original order number and a description of the issue
- Complete any recommended troubleshooting steps
- Obtain return instructions if a return is required
After inspection, NJT Automation will determine whether the item will be repaired, replaced, or refunded.
5. Inspection and Resolution
All returned items are inspected by NJT Automation.
If the failure is determined to be covered under warranty, NJT Automation will, at its discretion:
- Repair the item
- Replace the item with an equivalent unit
- Issue a refund
If the issue is determined to be outside the warranty terms, the customer will be notified before any further action is taken.
6. Swap and Advance Replacement Program (When Available)
To reduce downtime for mission-critical equipment, NJT Automation may offer advance replacement units for select products.
When approved:
- A replacement unit may be shipped before the original unit is received
- Availability is based on inventory at the time of the request
- Expedited shipping options may be offered upon request
Conditions:
- The customer must provide the original order number and a description of the failure
- Basic troubleshooting may be required prior to approval
- The original unit must be returned within the time frame specified by NJT Automation
- If the original unit is not returned, or is returned outside the warranty terms, the customer may be invoiced for the replacement unit
Note: The Swap Program is not guaranteed for all products.
7. Limitation of Liability
NJT Automation's liability under this warranty is limited to the repair, replacement, or refund of the product.
NJT Automation is not responsible for downtime, lost production, or any indirect or consequential damages.
