Failure patterns we regularly see on Kinetix 2000 integrated axis module (IAM) hardware like the 2093-AC05-MP5:
- Bus undervoltage (E09) or bus overvoltage (E10): aged DC bus electrolytic capacitors, or regen energy the shunt cannot absorb
- Precharge fault (E35): precharge resistor open or precharge relay failed, so the DC bus never charges and the rail will not come up
- Converter section failure: input rectifier or converter IGBT module blown after a line-side surge, missing phase, or a shorted axis downstream
- IPM fault (E05) on the integrated axis: inverter IGBT module shorted after a motor or cable fault, gate driver board damaged with it
- Ground fault (E34) that follows the IAM, not the motor: leakage through a damaged IGBT module or current sensor
